Niko Kovac was sacked by Bayern Munich after their 5-1 loss to Mainz. See the highlights here. Bayern, who bounced back in midweek with victory a victory over Olympiacos, named Hans-Dieter Flick as their interim coach.

This weekend, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund faced off in Der Klassiker, with Bayern winning 4-0.
