Reggae artist Gentleman and veteran Deutschrap star Sido have teamed up for“Schöner Tag”. It’s a catchy, self-aware track, but it’s also full of irony. The music video is just as much fun as the track itself, with the pair embracing the poor weather conditions in Berlin, dancing around with their umbrellas and Moncler puffers. Despite its somewhat jarring setting against the autumnal gloom of the German capital, the summery feel of the track remains infectious.
While Sido and Gentleman focus on a single “beautiful day”, in her new track“Das Leben”, LEA seeks to retrace an entire life, in a bittersweet moment of reflection.

“Was hat dich bloß so ruiniert”– Die Sterne
Die Sterne produced one of Germany's biggest indie hits in 1996 with “Was hat dich bloß so ruiniert". A guitar part which echoes The Animals’ classic “The House of the Rising Sun” introduces an almost rapturous, fast-paced track. The refrain, asking the question “What was it that ruined you?” is repeated time and time again, in a crescendo that is matched in the music video with the growing excitement of the crowd, before the stage is stormed.
