Weekly update: 10,000 people gather in central Vienna to protest Covid restrictions

Coronavirus More than 10,000 people gathered in central Vienna on Saturday to protest against the current restrictions. According to the Interior Minister, demonstrators were primarily conspiracy theorists, anti-vaccinationists and right-wing extremists. They were countered by a demonstration of mostly the left-wing activists.

Politics Christine Aschbacher (ÖVP) has resigned from her position as Minister of Employment and Family Affairs following accusations of plagiarism in her dissertation.
