An extreme weather phenomenon is occurring in Germany. In the north, there is heavy snow, in the south warmer spring-like weather, and in between there is extreme rain resulting in flooding. The reason is two weather systems over central Europe; one is bringing cold weather and snow down from the arctic and the other is bringing warm weather up from the Mediterranean.
